A Lifelong Commitment To Service

A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, Calvin comes from a family of independent business owners with deep roots within our communities. 

 

Calvin Callahan was first elected to the Lincoln County Board in 2018. Calvin also served on his local town board in the Town of Wilson. Calvin was the proud Chairman of the Lincoln County Republican Party. Before first announcing his candidacy, Calvin worked for President Donald J. Trump as Regional Field Director for Wisconsin.

 

Calvin has also served as the Tomahawk Future Business Leaders of America's Chief Communications Officer and worked with organizations such as Tomahawk Extended Area Partners in Education to provide educational opportunities to our youth. Calvin also is active with Lincoln County Economic Development and works with Merrill and Tomahawk Chambers of Commerce to continue to create opportunities for our economy to grow. Calvin served as the lone Lincoln County Representative to the Central Wisconsin Economic Development Board. 

 

Calvin sat on many committees on behalf of the county. Some with vital importance, such as but not limited to; Administrative and Legislative committee, this committee works with the Administrative Coordinator, department heads to develop and implement programs that have significance to our county operations. Calvin in the Assembly sits on the Committee on Consumer Protection (Chair), Committee on Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation (Vice-Chair), Committee on Insurance (Vice-Chair), Committee on Corrections, Committee on Labor and Integrated Employment, Committee on Sporting Heritage, Committee on State Affairs, Committee on Ways and Means, and on the Speaker's Task Force on Artificial Intelligence.

 

In his free time, Calvin enjoys hiking, boating, and spending time outdoors. But most importantly, he loves serving his community.

 

Calvin is a member of The National Rifle Association, Somo Fish and Game Club, The Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association, Wisconsin Trappers Association, Somo Atv Club, Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association, and the Lincoln County Republican Party.
