A Lifelong Commitment To Service

A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, Calvin comes from a family of independent business owners with deep roots within our communities. 

 

Calvin Callahan was first elected to the Lincoln County Board in 2018 and is currently serving his second term as Supervisor for the 13th District. Calvin also serves on his local town board in the Town of Wilson. Calvin is the proud Chairman of the Lincoln County Republican Party. Before announcing his candidacy, Calvin worked for the Republican Party of Wisconsin as Regional Field Director for Northern Wisconsin.

 

Calvin has also served as the Tomahawk Future Business Leaders of America's Chief Communications Officer and worked with organizations such as Tomahawk Extended Area Partners in Education to provide educational opportunities to our youth. Calvin also is active with Lincoln County Economic Development and works with Merrill and Tomahawk Chambers of Commerce to continue to create opportunities for our economy to grow. Calvin serves as the lone Lincoln County Representative to the Central Wisconsin Economic Development Board. 

 

Calvin sits on many committees on behalf of the county. Some with vital importance, such as but not limited to; Administrative and Legislative committee, this committee works with the Administrative Coordinator, department heads to develop and implement programs that have significance to our county operations. We also keep well informed of proposed legislation having County implications and take appropriate action. Calvin also sits on the Land Services committee, which oversees the county's zoning codes, the comprehensive plan, and works along with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

 

In his free time, Calvin enjoys hiking, boating, and spending time outdoors. But most importantly, he loves serving his community.

 

Calvin is a member of The National Rifle Association, Somo Fish and Game Club, The Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association, Wisconsin Trappers Association, Somo Atv Club, Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association, Lincoln County Republican Party, Marathon County Republican Party, and the Langlade County Republican Party.
